Eastern Connection Marks 25th Anniversary on Valentine’s Day with Public Service Campaign for Americ

Woburn, Mass. - Corinne Broderick, Cheryl Oglesby, Lynne Gaines, Theresa Sciarappa, and Susan Webb from the Massachusetts Medical Society in Waltham, Mass., recently received National Wear Red Day kits from the American Heart Association (AHA), delivered by Mark Houser from Eastern Connection (EC) in Woburn, Mass. Marking its 25th anniversary on Valentine’s Day, as part of a public service campaign for AHA, EC delivered more than 50 packages probono, coinciding with the Go Red For Women for program.
 
Go Red For Women and National Wear Red Day are programs to build awareness and urge women to take actions to reduce their risk of heart disease, as well as raise necessary funds for prevention and treatment research and education programs.
