Woburn, Mass. - Eastern Connection - the largest regional parcel carrier serving the East Coast - recently expanded its lease with an additional 11,000 SF at 60 Olympia Avenue in Woburn, Mass.

With construction completed in January 2008, the Woburn complex, which serves as Eastern Connection’s headquarters for office and warehouse space, is now a 41,000 SF facility. The expansion allows Eastern Connection to sublease space to some of its customers to help them with supply chain logistic needs.

Eastern Connection handled all negotiations with the landlord, Olympia Trust.

"The additional space allows us to improve efficiencies in our overnight and logistics operations," said Steve Lavigne, Executive Vice President of Operations. "This includes using a new parcel sorting system, which will increase our sorting capacity and help to dispatch routes earlier."
