Woburn, Mass. - Caritas Good Samaritan Hospice in Norwood, part of Caritas Carney Hospital, recently received donated gifts and in-kind services from Eastern Connection in Woburn - the largest regional parcel carrier serving the East Coast. Westwood residents, Jim Berluti, CEO and President of Eastern Connection, and Carolyn Berluti, have volunteered their time and resources to the institution. Recently, they donated tickets to Red Sox and Patriots games at a fund raiser featuring Tim Fox of the New England Patriots as the auctioneer. Eastern Connection also provided a delivery truck to help with the transfer of packages to and from the event. "Caritas Carney is near and dear to our hearts," says Jim Berluti. Eastern Connection is expanding its public services coinciding with the founding of the company 25 years ago on Valentine’s Day.
